The Silicon Valley understands the power of social networking and Team Yoriko knows that Facebook and Twitter are valuable tools for building our network of supporters and getting Yoriko’s message out to the entire 21st Assembly District.

Join Yoriko’s Facebook Team: 4 Fast and Easy Ways to Help
1. Suggest Friends for Yoriko: Once you are Yoriko’s Facebook friend, introduce Yoriko to your friends! Suggesting friends for Yoriko to connect with is the best way to help get her message out.
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of Yoriko’s profile page and click “Suggest Friends for Yoriko.”
- This will open a window with all of your friends on the screen. Select all or some of your friends by clicking on them and then click “Send Suggestions.”
- Your selected friends will get a suggestion from you to add Yoriko as a friend.
2. Like, Comment and Share: Yoriko posts campaign updates to her profile all the time. Her posts will appear on your Facebook home page news feed. When you see these posts, you can click “like,” “comment” or “share.” Liking or commenting on Yoriko’s posts will show up on your profile and news feeds creating a viral effect. Sharing Yoriko’s posts allows you to communicate directly with specific friends who you think might be interested in Yoriko’s post.
3. Invite friends to Yoriko’s Events: Team Yoriko has fantastic events all the time and we’d love for you to attend and invite your friends.
- Click the “Events” tab at the top of Yoriko’s page and check out our upcoming events page.
- Click on the event you want to attend and invite people to – this will take you to that event page.
- RSVP in the right column
- Finally, click the “Invite Friends” link at the top right of the event page and invite your friends.
4. Grab Yoriko’s Mystuff Widget App: Team Yoriko has its own special Facebook application called a “Widget” that you can download directly to your profile page to show your support and help recruit new people to the campaign. The “widget” buttons take you directly to Yoriko’s Twitter page or the “Join,” “Contribute,” and “Learn” pages on this campaign website. to add it to your profile:
- Click the “MyStuff” tab at the top of Yoriko’s page.
- Click “Grab This” on the right side of the screen.
- This will open a window that allows you to post the “widget” to your news feed or send it as a Facebook message to as many friends as you’d like. Don’t forget to ask people to “Grab this application and support Yoriko for Assembly”. You may also want to include a link to these instructions.
- Next you will see a window with all of your friends on the screen you can click on their pictures and directly invite up to 4 friends a day to download Yoriko’s widget.
